Georgia is the Curriculum & Training Specialist for the College Access Program at College Forward. She grew up in Manor, Texas, and went to Southwestern University for a bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies. She taught high school Latin, World Literature, and other subjects for four years, before joining College Forward as a College Access Coach to become more well-rounded in educating and assisting high school students. Georgia spent her second year at CoFo as a Lead Coach before joining the team as the C&T Specialist. She strongly believes in the quote, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” In her free time, she likes to read, draw, and play video games. You will often see or hear her cats Zoey and Sherlock in the background of video calls!
