Georgia LoSchiavo

Georgia LoSchiavo is serving as a College Access Coach at Crockett High School. She grew up in Manor, Texas and went to Southwestern University. In her free time, she reads, draws, and plays video games. Her dream has always been to be an archaeologist, so she got a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies (studying ancient Greece and Rome). She then worked in a library and taught Latin, World Literature, and other subjects in a high school for four years and fell in love with teaching. She joined College Forward to be more well-rounded in educating and assisting high school students.

 

“I strongly believe in the Einstein quote, ‘Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.’ I want to be the person that sees the genius in everybody and helps them see it in themselves.”
